Speed up websites

Website speed is a very important thing. It can affect your conversion rate, SEO, and user experience. Lots of users will leave your site before it is fully loaded if it takes too long, so it doesn't matter how much work you put into creating your content as users won't even see it. How many times have you wanted to quickly check something on the internet and have to wait 10 or 15 seconds to get one simple piece of information from the website? Probably too many. Who wants to use an online store when a simple action takes 10 seconds on it? I think not many people.

How to check if your website is too slow? There are many free, online tools that will visit your website and check if it’s fast enough and what you can do to make it faster. One of these is Google Insights, a great tool provided by Google that will direct you on what to do. Of course, getting a 100/100 score is not necessary because Google is really demanding and can lower your score even for using Google Analytics (but even that can be avoided using some tricks). Sometimes getting 100/100 score is not possible due to the low-quality server.
